“Welcome Back to Bali” Website

A new one-stop trusted information source for holidaymakers to plan and navigate travels in Bali safely and responsibly

Bali, 21 September 2021 – Bali Hotels Association (BHA), a well-established professional group of star-rated hotels and resorts in Bali, launches today a new website: www.welcomebacktobali.com. The streamlined, user-friendly website aims to provide travelers with the most recent, factual, and verified information about the current situation in Bali, as well as policies and regulations, in one centralized address.

Indonesia has eased its COVID-19 restrictions for Bali, maritime and investment minister Luhut Panjaitan told a virtual conference on Monday.
The level of restrictions on the island and elsewhere in Indonesia will be evaluated on a weekly basis, he added.

The government has regulations in place in an attempt in preventing further transmission of COVID-19 through vaccination programs and implementation of health protocols in Bali.
A reminder to travel responsibily and stay safe and protect others by practicing all health protocls including social distancing, wearing a mask in public places, and washing your hands frequently during Level 4 Community Restrictions (PPKM) in Bali.

Emergency restrictions are now in place for Bali from July 3-20. 

 Bali Governor I Wayan Koster has stated that begining Thursday, June 30, 2021 domestic air passengers entering the resort island of Bali, via Ngurah Rai International Airport are required to carry COVID-19 negative PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test results.

Amid a recent surge in COVID-19 cases in Indonesia, of which Bali has also seen an increase in numbers, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno has stated the following in the press conference on Tuesday,  "The plan to open Bali to tourists will continue.  but it must consider the latest situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Bali Hotels Association steps up in reopening push with vaccination, safety and education drives.
Despite an unknown date, all hands are involved in turning this dream to reality — putting safety and vaccinations at the top of the tourism reopening agenda.

The Indonesian government plans to introduce a "Work From Bali" scheme for civil servants aimed at helping to revive the island's battered economy.

The Government's free vaccination program in Bali continues.  With just over 32% of the target in Bali, have received both vaccinations.
